Meet our CEO
Jacky Li, a distinguished business leader, currently serves as the Honorary President of the Southern Africa Shanghai Chamber of Commerce. Originally from Shanghai, China, Jacky has been a prominent figure in the South African business landscape for over three decades, having relocated there 30 years ago.

With a dynamic career characterized by frequent travels between China and South Africa, Jacky has been instrumental in fostering robust business relations between the two nations.
In 1999, he founded Launch Technologies SA, a venture that marked the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey in the automotive sector.
Under his visionary leadership, Launch Technologies SA has evolved into one of South Africa's leading brands in workshop equipment, renowned for its innovation and quality.

Expanding his business horizon, in 2014, Jacky established China Dream Investments. This venture underscores his commitment to enhancing Sino-African business ties, focusing on creating and nurturing synergies between Chinese and South African enterprises. Through his strategic foresight and unwavering dedication, Jacky continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the business landscape across these regions, driving growth, and fostering cross-cultural collaborations.,
SENIOR PROFESSIONALS
Prior to joining ChinaDream Investments, Khaya worked as a Manager in the Corporate Finance Team of an international advisory firm with a particular focus on project finance and PPPs within South Africa. Khaya also worked for the National Treasury.
During this period, he spent time on secondment to the Development Bank of Southern Africa and PPP SA division. Some of his recent experience includes the following:
Assisting in providing financial advisory services to the Provincial Government of Kwa-Zulu Natal in the exit strategy of Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital,
Financial Modelling and debt advisory related to an SPV company that was bidding for Gauteng Rooftop PV Project.
Assisted with companies that required funding assistance from the Black Industrialists programme from the DTI.
Involved in advising a 30MW biomass plant development in Pretoria;
Assisting in providing financial advisory services to the Provincial Government of Kwa Zulu Natal in the PPP procurement of head office accommodation.
Assisted Transnet with the procurement of maintenance services for the 1064 locomotives the entity procured; and Assisting the City of Johannesburg with setting up the Strategic Project Management Office.
Khaya is a qualified chartered accountant.
